Cabaret Show

The stage director will work with 40-50 high school age students to produce a multi-genre cabaret show. The Cabaret show is meant to be a multi-disciplinary experience for the students, allowing them to have true ownership over their own work. The director should be familiar with both operatic styles and theatre styles and how to appropriately stage this kind of repertoire for high-school aged musicians.

Acting/Movement Classes

For three hours each day, the director will work with students in a small group acting/movement course setting. This course is to be designed by the instructor, with guidance from the Youth Program Director. The course should introduce students to a variety of acting techniques, including Meisner and Stanislavski. This will be a hands-on and active experience for the students.
