Carmen tells the story of Don Jose, a Spanish soldier who falls in love with the fiery and tempestuous Carmen. After two months away, Jose finds that he has a rival for Carmen's affections in the form of the toreador Escamillo. Love, anger, and jealousy explode as the three become embroiled in this passionate Romance, containing some of the most iconic songs in opera.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream
By Benjamin Britten

A haunting and mystical take on one of William Shakespeare's most iconic comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream follows four Athenian lovers and a troupe of would-be actors into a fairy wood, ruled by the feuding King Oberon and Queen Titania. At the center of the tale is love-in-idleness, a magic flower struck by Cupid's arrow that can make anyone fall in love with the next person (or thing) they see. The course of true love never did run smooth, as friends are torn apart, actors are scared witless, and the Queen of the Fairies finds herself sharing her bower with a monster.
