South Beach

Miami Music Festival is located directly in South Beach, Florida. South Beach has been called the American Riviera and an Art Deco Playground. The clear blue water and the white sand beaches are a must-see for any Miami visitor; even for locals, the beautiful beach just doesn't get old. If you're taking a break from the sun, check out one of the many museums, shops or historic buildings in the area. Take a stroll down Lincoln Road for the best people watching in Miami or cozy up to a fancy bar with haute cocktails. 

South Beach offers an eclectic mix of world-class boutiques, galleries and stores. It's also a culinary hot spot for everything from gourmet to casual beachside cuisine. At night, South Beach comes alive with crowds ready to go out and have a world-class evening out.

Rehearsal Locations

Miami Beach Senior High

Miami Beach Senior High is the MMF’s central location for rehearsals. MBSH is equipped with numerous rehearsal spaces for Orchestra, Stagings, Master classes and Private Lessons. After rehearsals, MBSH is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and Lincoln Road restaurants and activities.

Performance Locations

New World Center

The New World Center is located one block north of Lincoln Road on South Beach and is home to the New World Symphony, a leading cultural institution. This critically acclaimed theater designed by legendary architect Frank Gehry in 2011 utilizes cutting-edge technology, stunning acoustics, and generates audiences from around the world. The New World Center brings many of the leading classical soloists, composers, and conductors of this era to Miami.

Temple Emanu-El

Temple Emanu-El is considered one of the most beautiful synagogues in America.  Its impressive and eclectic Byzantine and Moorish architecture features a rotunda building and copper dome that stands more than ten stories tall.  

Temple Emanu-El stands as a vibrant, historic congregation in the heart of famous South Beach.  Throughout the years the synagogue has been visited by thousands of tourists and continues to welcome them with open arms. Further, it has hosted many notable statesmen and religious leaders, among them President Ronald Reagan, President Bill Clinton, Senator Henry M. Jackson, the Dalai Lama, and Desmond Tutu.  Temple Emanu-El’s contributions to the beauty of South Beach were celebrated by the Miami Beach Beautification Committee which bestowed the 2010 Beautification Award on the synagogue. 


The Betsy-South Beach

MMF enjoys a successful partnership with South Beach's premiere boutique hotel, The Betsy-South Beach. Together, the Festival and The Betsy host a regular performance series of intimate chamber concerts and recitals. This partnership is committed to bringing year-round music to Miami featuring the best and brightest alumni, faculty and guest artists across institutes including vocalists, pianists, instrumentalists, chamber groups, ensembles and more.
