Ports of Call
San Juan, Puerto Rico
The capital of the US Territory of Puerto Rico, San Juan was founded in 1521 by Spanish colonists. The city is famous for its wide variety of architecture, from the Art Deco buildings of Santurce, to the beautifully chromatic Old San Juan, to the many historical buildings— including the governor’s mansion La Fortaleza, the oldest executive mansion in the western hemisphere and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
St. Martin/St. MaartEn
This half-French, half-Dutch island is known for its beaches, showcasing the famous blue Caribbean Sea, and perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling. The island itself was one of the destinations of Christopher Columbus’ second voyage for Spain. It was split between its French and Dutch sides in 1648, creating the French Collectivity of Saint Martin and the Dutch Sint Maarten.
Tortola, British Virgin Islands
The Virgin Islands are an archipelago in the eastern part of the Greater Antilles islands in the Caribbean. The island of Tortola is the largest and most populous island of the British Virgin Islands, with large stretches of beaches. The island has access to the wreck site of the RMS Rhone, now a thriving artificial reef, and Virgin Gorda, whose granite rocks create grottoes along its beaches.
