An allegory for our modern times: hysterics, politics and who’s to blame? Arthur Miller’s dramatized account of the Salem witch trials is updated in MMF’s riveting production to a gripping and provocative present day social commentary. A cautionary tale of history, American composer Robert Ward expertly crafts a musical backdrop of fear, mistrust and tragedy.
